FVCS Middle School Boys suffered their first conference loss at the hands of Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy in Stephen's City.  Aided by a strong wind and aggressive play, SVCA took and early lead on a through ball that the FVCS defense did not handle.  SVCA scored three more time before the half to build a comfortable 4-0 lead.

The second half was a different story.  Constant pressure from Fresta lead to a goal by Ian Sumrall after strong play from Elijah Lash down the left flank resulted in a brilliant cross.  Midway through the half Ian Sumrall connected again, this time after attacking play from Ben Sexton and Ben Worsham.  Ezra Lash added an assist to Ian Sumrall as he completed a hat-trick, but the score came after another break-away goal by SVCA that iced the game.

"The score line is disappointing but the way we played in the second half is an indication of how this team is capable of performing.  We need to start quicker and get things rolling sooner and we will be just fine." coach Sumrall said after the game.
