CHELSEA ACADEMY: 0
Fresta Valley came out in tremendous fashion in Front Royal, with a 3-0 victory over Chelsea Academy. Maddie Lam put all three goals in with her great footwork, speed, and power; but she was not the only player impressive in the game. "This game was an all around, great team effort." Coach Fries commented. The Pioneers had great gameplay from Megan Jones, Ariana Lundy, and Brooke Patten. Their ability to help keep the Pioneers in possession of the ball, helped to get a lot of playing time for everybody. " I liked what I saw from Rachel (Sims), Bekah (Perez), and Grace (Stanley). With sixteen girls on the team, it is hard to get a good amount of playing time for everyone. These girls are making it even harder with how well they performed today." The team looks to continue their success in finding the back of the net as the season goes forward.
